Delete a contact's data (GDPR)
Updated April 27, 2026
An admin can purge any contact from the contact profile. This removes personal data: name, email, custom fields, and event history.
One thing is kept: a one-way hash of the email on the suppression list. Without it, a deleted-then-reimported address could be mailed again, which is exactly what suppression exists to prevent. The hash is not reversible and is not personal data you can act on.
For a full data export (a DSAR), an admin can export all of a contact's data as JSON from the same screen.
