Import contacts from a CSV
Updated May 13, 2026
Go to Contacts → Import. Upload a CSV. Mule Mail shows the first rows so you can map columns to fields. An email column is the only requirement.
Before anything is written, you see four counts: valid, invalid, duplicate, and already-suppressed. Invalid addresses are not imported. Duplicates update the existing contact rather than creating a second one.
Pick the list or lists the import joins, confirm, and the contacts are in. A 100-row file takes seconds; large files import in the background and you get an email when done.
