Your first send: the five-minute checklist

Updated May 15, 2026

You can send your first real campaign in about five minutes. Do these in order.

  1. Add a sending domain. Use a subdomain like mail.yourcompany.com, not your root domain.
  2. Add the DNS records. Mule Mail gives you exact SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records. Paste them into your DNS host.
  3. Verify. Click verify. Green means the inbox providers will trust your mail.
  4. Import contacts. A CSV with an email column is enough. Map the rest.
  5. Write and send. Pick a template, write a subject, send to yourself first, then to the list.

If verification does not pass, see "Why is my domain not verifying" in Deliverability.
